How to Play Noillirk
Noillirk is a short climb you can start in the browser. There is nothing to install and no account. A prompt appears, you type the word you think most people would say, and a rider on three balloons rises if that guess is common.
The climb is on this page. How to play is the short version. This note is the longer one: what a turn feels like, how the sky changes, and which mode to open.

What one turn feels like
A turn opens with Ready, then a three-second countdown. The prompt is a survey question, not a trivia fact. You get about fifteen seconds and one answer. Submit it and the score becomes altitude. Pass, leave the box empty, or let the timer run out, and that prompt gives no lift.
The useful habit is to answer for a stranger, not for yourself. A driver thinks of car keys. A parent thinks of socks. Noillirk wants the word a hundred ordinary people would say first. A short, plain word usually beats a clever phrase. "Keys" travels farther than "the spare set in the kitchen drawer."
Classic and Daily are seven prompts. A perfect run is seven Sky High answers, 700 points. On the altitude scale that is about 14 km, still around the jet stream. That is high. It is not orbit.
What the picture is doing
The score and the sky are the same thing. At 0 m the rider is on the forest floor, with birds crossing a pale green sky and a ruler on the right marked up toward 15 km. A stronger answer carries the card up. Birds give way to eagles and cloud, then to planes. Rockets and anything past the Karman line need more height than seven prompts can buy. That longer sky belongs to Endless.
The memory of the screen is simple: flat illustration, three balloons, and a card that moves when the answer is common. The ruler, the tiers, and what each score is worth are on the altitude section of the homepage.
A real Classic prompt
On a Classic climb the first card was a home question: "Name a plant people actually remember to water." The obvious guess was cactus. The result came back Cloud Nine, 32 points, with the line "On the board." Altitude moved from 0 m to 3 m. Still the forest floor. Close to the crowd, not the first word they would have shouted.

The tiers on this site are fixed:
| Tier | What it means | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Sky High | The answer most people would give | 100 |
| Jet Stream | Ranks 2–4, still common | 64 |
| Cloud Nine | Ranks 5–9, on the board | 32 |
| Kite | A listed long shot | 16 |
| Treetop | Hardly anyone said it | 8 |
| Grounded | On the list, almost nobody chose it | 4 |
Anything else, a pass, or a timeout is no lift. The card says so in plain language: "Out of time. No answer."

Which mode to open
Daily, Classic, and Endless all ask for the same kind of answer. They spend the balloons differently.
Daily gives everyone the same seven prompts today, in the same order. A new day brings a new seven. You play that set once, so a morning score and an evening score are about the same climb. The score stays in this browser. There is no account and no public board. Daily is comparable because the prompts match, not because the site stores a ranking.
Classic deals a new seven every time you start. Fifteen seconds each. Play it as often as you like. A perfect 700 is about 14 km.
Endless does not stop at seven. You have three balloons. Run out of time, pass, or score nothing, and one balloon pops. Any answer that scores keeps the balloons you still have. Sky High restores one, up to three. Spend a miss early and you are climbing on two balloons for the rest of the run. A later Sky High puts the third back, and only then. You cannot bank more than three. This is the mode that can keep rising past the jet stream. The same rules are on the homepage under modes.
Multiplayer is the same seven prompts in one room. You pick the name this browser will show, other people join, and at the end the room sees every word and every height.
If you have a few minutes, play Daily. If you want another set immediately, switch to Classic. If you want to see how far three balloons can go, open Endless. Typing is easier on a desktop. A phone browser is enough for one Daily on the way somewhere, as long as the keyboard is not covering the box when the fifteen seconds start.
Three things worth remembering
- Answer for the crowd. The winning word is the boring one.
- Prefer the general word. A broad answer can still match. A long precise sentence rarely does.
- Submit on time. An empty box does not climb. A good-enough common word beats a perfect one you never send.
Questions
Is Noillirk a trivia quiz?
No. There is no fact you were supposed to have memorized. The prompt is a survey. The word that scores is the one most people would say, not the clever one. If you are hunting a single correct answer, you are playing a different game.
What height is 700 points?
About 14 km, around the jet stream on the altitude scale. That is a perfect Classic or Daily: seven Sky High answers. It is still weather, not space. Anything past that needs Endless, and it needs the balloons to stay up.
What happens if the timer hits zero?
No lift. The card says "Out of time." The same thing happens if you pass or send a word that is not on the list. In Endless that miss also pops one balloon.
Other doors with the same name
The idea "guess the common answer, rise on balloons" shows up at more than one address. playdaily.org/noillirk also describes Daily, Classic, and Endless. noillirk.com describes a different product on its own pages: about ten questions, about thirty seconds each, and a different way of showing the climb. This guide, and the play button below, are for noillirkgame.online.
The forest floor is still at 0 m. Open a Daily or a Classic, type the plain word, and see how far the balloons go. More notes live on the blog.
